Hello Nessy Having watched the met office app and followed the news, the rain that came was about as much as I’d thought. In 3 short hours the wheelbarrow in the garden (that I had emptied especially to gauge how much fell from the sky) was half full and the front drive was one giant puddle.
A good time to have a 4ft square hole in the roof? Not really ideal but the felt lining they had put up to fill the gap stood up tremendously!
All beams dry and felt In place despite the high winds and heavy downpours. *phew*
